I also offered my design services to a local residential care centre for people with learning disabilities. I produced a design working around existing structures and this was implemented by myself and a group of volunteers. The images below show this transformation.

I am actively involved as a volunteer in my local community where I act as lead gardener for a group of volunteers who help to green the area. This principally takes place in Arlington Square, Islington, where the local community has taken over some of the formal responsibilities for the maintenance of this green oasis on the edge of The City. Below are some images of the improvements that we as a community have made to Arlington Square.

With my partner I have also initiated the further greening of our area by obtaining permission from a power company to turn the bare land in front of a local substation into a community garden. The images below show this transformation.
